Tahoe Vacation

The moment we finished the eight hour drive, we had to go for a bike ride and stretch our legs. We found a bike path and it lead to a beautiful view of the lake.

The following day we embarked on a 9 mile hike around the west rim of the lake.

 View of Emerald Bay below.
Then we went to Virginia City and saw some history. Here is a picture of a toilet Mark Twain used. Even famous authors even have more pressing matters than writing.
Then we went back to the lake and enjoyed a beautiful dinner cruise.
 Your typical sunset.

Lastly, on our way back from the Tahoe, we stopped at Mammoth and mountain biked and hiked.

Jen's Birthday

We started Jen's special day in Newport Beach where we rode our bikes on Orange County's strand.

Of course we had to go to Fashion Island and try on Lululemon clothes, eat cookies, and look at other fun things.

The new cupcake place in Hermosa, Frosted, gives you free cupcakes on your birthday. How could Jen forfeit this?
Later, Jen had dinner with her friends at Chef Hanna's in El Segundo.

Bringing Back the Blog With an Oldie but a Goodie

To bring back the blog back to life, we begin with a go to blog subject, Disneyland. We had the privilege of going to Cars Land and ride Mater's Junkyard Jamboree and Radiator Racers (via single rider entrance of course).
